However, becoming one of the world’s greatest stock traders doesn’t come overnight; it isn’t necessarily something you’re born with. Harvard Business School
Of course, we are going to kick off the list with one of the most prestigious business schools on the planet. And, the most expensive. An MBA at Harvard will set you back a whopping $75,353 but is it worth every cent? A lot of people seem to think so. The average salary for a graduate is over $150,000, so you’re more than likely to make your money back in record time. Also, some of the biggest business moguls in the world have graduated from Harvard Business School, including Jamie Dimon, and Sheryl Sandberg. You’re going to need to work hard to get into Harvard and pull out all the stops while you’re there, but it definitely seems to pay off.
MIT – Sloan School of Management
Massachusetts Institute of Technology has had some impressive, notable alumni over the years, so it comes as no surprise to see their business school make it onto our list. What is a surprise is to learn that 93% of graduates in 2016 all accepted job offers within 90 days, from some of the biggest companies in the world; Google, Microsoft, McKinsey & Co., and Amazon. If you want to get your MBA and end up with an incredible job at the end of it, then MIT just might be the perfect business school for you. Their fees are under $70,000 and the average starting salary for graduates if over $140,000.
Stanford University – Graduate School of Business
If your dream is more Silicon Valley than Wall Street, we would highly recommend trying to nab yourself a place at Stanford. People like Elon Musk, Larry Page, and Sergey Brin are all Stanford University graduates, so you know you’ll be in good company. The average starting salary of graduates is over $150,000, and many of the people who get an MBA with Stanford end up starting their own business. Not bad, considering their fees are around $66,000, which is a lot lower than some on this list.
University of Pennsylvania – Wharton School
Yet another institute that has Elon Musk as a notable alumni (he was a busy boy), along with Warren Buffett and many others. As one of the best business schools in the world, it comes as no surprise to see some of the richest and most successful people have studied here. It also only has an acceptance rate of around 9%, so if you want to prove your worth, then you are definitely going to need to hit the books before applying.
