There have been many romances on the show. Kit Harington has been involved in a handful of love storylines – and was once supposed to see the character fall in love with Arya Stark. However, it was Ygritte, played by Rose Leslie, who stole his heart.

The pair fell in love on the show, but their tumultuous relationship wasn’t meant to last. The stars headed to Iceland to film some of their scenes for season two. It was here the two stars realized their love went a lot further than the scripts.
