This grand hall is usually reserved for the ballroom, but the Queen will transform the room into a space fit for a banquet whenever she is throwing large dinner parties or any large-scale event.

The top of the table is often complete with a pair of thrones for the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh. That’s not all. The size of the table might be impressive, but it’s the chandeliers that get people talking, they are the largest in the palace, and are said to weigh half a ton each.
