Man reunites with birth mother 51 years after she held him for just six hours

American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson found out that one of her relatives was once a civil war hero when she went on Who Do You Think You Are? Little did she know that one of her ancestors, named Isaiah Rose, was deep-rooted in American history and fought for the Union.

Her three-times great-grandfather fought for the rights of others and even became a senator in Ohio. Maybe knowing how brave her relatives were in the past will inspire Clarkson to write a song commemorating them.
