A 2015 poll showed that about three in ten Americans had at least one tattoo, while a different survey placed the number at a much lower 14 percent. Whichever the case, it’s clear that over time the number of people who have been tattooed has been constantly increasing. That might seem reassuring, but the numbers are skewed heavily, as ink is predominantly more prevalent among millennials than it is with, say, baby boomers. When you come into a job interview, is the interviewer going to appreciate your neck tattoo?
