The truth is that Mewnir didn’t really care about the fact that “stole” his opportunity to do the puzzle. He wrote that he actually doesn’t really “give a damn” about doing the crossword.

But beyond that is a much more pressing issue. Why would someone have the nerve to go through his mailbox? Why would they be doing his crossword puzzle? He certainly found the whole thing a little bit creepy, and it’s probably the reason he felt compelled to write about it on the Reddit thread.
