Everyone loves a James Bond movie, right? Because of this, the producers of these movies decide to pull out all of the stops in the hopes that their latest addition will be better than the last.

In 1967, prop designer Ken Adam was roped in to help the production team create a giant volcano lair for the SPECTRE team. Volcan HQ is still one of the most famous Bond locations ever created, and it seems as though the $1 million spent on perfecting this volcano set was definitely worth it.
