She believes she missed out on some of the things that most normal children get to experience when growing up, however. She spent a lot of her time competing against other horse riders from across the world, meaning she missed out on a lot of time at school. She attended school as much as she could and always made sure she was around for the dances and her prom. Although she missed out on day to day life a lot, she feels like she got a good balance to her school life.
