Sadly Mia had to endure something no child should, she was diagnosed with brain cancer at the tender age of six. The devastating news came just a short while after she left Toddlers and Tiaras and had to go through a difficult time dealing with chemotherapy and other treatments. Mia showed she was a fighter though and after two years of battling, she was declared cancer free. She hasn’t returned to pageant as of yet, instead taking life easy for the time being as she recovers from her tough battle.
