Many of us have grown up with a sibling who always seems to be one step ahead when it comes to getting away with a dastardly plan. This is Ferris’ case when it comes to Jeanie. This character starts the movie not believing a word of Ferris’ sickness and is determined to prove that he’s lying. Her suspicions are proved correct when Jeanie notices Ferris outside of school picking up Sloane.
From there, she tries her hardest to prove Ferris is at home but ends up knocking out Mr. Rooney – who is also trying his hardest to find Ferris by breaking into their home. When telling the police about the intruder in her home, Jeanie also meets a boy (played by Charlie Sheen) who seems to cheer her up, and eventually ends up confronting Mr. Rooney after she realizes it was her principal in her home the entire time.
