Hope Van Dyne first appears in the Marvel world alongside actor Paul Rudd in the 2015 superhero movie, Ant-Man. However, Hope doesn’t turn up as the Wasp until the 2018 movie Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Although she is a beloved character in the films, there are some major differences between the comic books and the movies. In the comics, the Wasp is one of the villains, but the films see the character teaming up with Ant-Man and becoming the hero.
