Okoye is one of the leading women in the movie Black Pantha. This character is the head of Intel and the armed forces in Wakanda, as well as being the general of the female bodyguard group, the Dora Milaje.
Although Okoye would do anything to defend her king, she will also fight with anyone that brings a threat to her country – no matter who they are. Her dedication finds herself torn between remaining friends with T’Challa, or respecting her duties towards their new king, Erik Killmonger.
