There’s really quite a lot to unpack with this tattoo. Why would anyone need a tattoo of smiling, anthropomorphic tools? That’s one example. After they got that tattoo, why would they pose with a pair of actual pliers to unveil it?
Is it to give the tattoo scale, or maybe to just convey the message that it was inspired by this person’s favorite home renovation tool? It’s likely that we’ll never know the answers to these questions, and perhaps that’s for the best. Some things are better left a mystery.
