Then, in the glow of Jolie’s big Oscar win, the father-daughter pair starred together in the 2001 movie Lara Craft: Tomb Raider. It was the first time the two worked together since Jolie’s childhood debut in Lookin’ To Get Out. According to family friend, Cris Rundle, Jolie was the one who cast Voight in the role stating that it was to help “resurrect” his career which at the time had taken a slight decline.
