She acknowledged that although her and Voight were back in each other’s lives, they don’t “discuss the past.” By 2013, the actor dad claimed that he and his formerly estranged daughter were “back on track.” In recent years, following Jolie’s messy divorce with Pitt, they seem to be closer than ever.

“Jon and I have gotten to know each other – through grandchildren now,” the actress expressed on a podcast. “We’re finding a new relationship. We’ve had some difficulties, but through art we’ve been able to talk.”
