Following Jolie and Pitt’s highly-publicized new romance, it seemed as if she still was avoiding her father. After the couple’s twins Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt were born in July 2008, Voight revealed that he still had yet to speak to his daughter and still hadn’t met the grand-kids.

However, he did gush to reporters about the joy he felt for his family, “Like any father, it’s the most exciting thing that a new soul is coming in.” He added, “All my love goes to them.”
