If you were a high school student somewhere from 2003-2007, you probably remember the lovely Mischa Barton playing the role of Marissa Cooper on The O.C. The show was an absolute hit, and she was a huge superstar. But if fans loved her so much, why then did her character get killed off at the end of the third season? Apparently, it was because Mischa herself had had enough – “I’m not sure I’m enjoying this anymore,” she said, adding that “it was time to step back.”
