Robert Beltran played the role of Commander Chakotay on Star Trek: Voyager, and although he was a staple character for seven years, his time on the show wasn’t always so easy. Describing himself as a creative person, he said that although he enjoyed the work itself, it was hard for him to deal with many of the creative choices that the producers made – and he complained about it many times on the set.
