Everyone has had at least one teacher that somehow always manages to sound boring no matter what they do. For Kevin, and the rest of his classmates, Mr. Cantwell was that teacher. Stein played the recurring role of Kevin’s science teacher in Junior High. Most of his scenes consisted of Mr. Cantwell teaching the class with a series of film strips, and often speaking in a very dry and emotionless tone of voice. Kevin’s mind seemed to frequently drift in this class to other subjects, like girls.
