Because of the fascination with Martha, her story received international coverage. In fact, even PBS did a special on her in September, 2018. The network has episodes called Secrets of the Dead and uncovers as much as possible about people who’ve been long gone, not unlike Martha.

She has become known as The Women in the Iron Coffin and one thing is certain; the fascination of Martha Peterson will probably last for years to come and her story will not soon be forgotten.
