The next job she worked at was at a gourmet market in Albany called Cowan and Lobel, where she worked as a buyer. It was at this job that Rachael says she figured out what she wanted to do. At this job, she started meeting all kinds of people who were “reluctant to cook,” and probably didn’t think much of themselves in the kitchen. Based on this, Rachael realized that there was a huge untapped market in the cooking industry.
