[post_page_title]Filling a niche[/post_page_title]
Following her successful appearance on “The Today Show,” Rachael caught the eye of the Food Network. They were impressed with the chef’s presence on TV and felt that her take on cooking filled a niche. So, they offered her a contract. They wanted Rachael to host her own show titled “30 Minute Meals.” As the name suggests, she would cook meals in half an hour which viewers at home could recreate in their own time. Rachael couldn’t say yes quick enough, and in 2001, the show went on the air.
