Gary Dourdan was given all of the help and advice he needed to give himself a new start in life and make amends for all of the wrongs he had done, but he just couldn’t find the strength or the money to rebuild his career. Just one year after he was charged with felony battery, Gary filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Reports noted that although he had over $1.8 million to his name, he owed around $1,689,704 of that money to numerous banks, including the bank that held the mortgage on his house.
