Although he was not sentenced to serve time, Gary did have to pay for what he did to Nicole. He was placed on probation for five years, and a restraining order meant that he could not go anywhere near his ex-girlfriend. However, this wasn’t the end of his punishment. Because of his crime, Gary had to attend domestic violence counseling for a year, as well as narcotics counseling. The judge in charge of his case knew of his history and wanted him to wipe his whole slate clean. But would he ever find another girlfriend after this?
