Dourdan was shocked at the success and love for the shows that the fans had. While he was thrilled for the positive reception, he never would have expected or hoped for such a great reviews of CSI. The show became the most watched drama of its time, with millions and millions of viewers tuning in each week. When Gary first received the scripts, he was nervous that some of the themes were too intense and wouldn’t work. Alternatively, fans loved the show from its start to finish.
