Little known behind-the-scenes facts from Saved By the Bell

We often think of television stars as being among the rich and famous, but that wasn’t all true for the cast of Saved By the Bell. Mark-Paul Gosselaar later revealed that the cast did not get paid well for the show, which was partly because it was the beginning of the Saturday morning shows, and networks didn’t yet know how to treat it.

On top of earning low salaries, the cast also didn’t make money off of the show’s merchandising, or from any of the episodes that went into syndication.
