If there’s one woman who has the ability to inspire songs, as well as all sorts of creativity, it’s cultural icon Marilyn Monroe. Although Joe Elliott of Def Leppard was only three when Monroe passed away, he still longed for her as he looked at her photograph (hence the name of the song).
