There is a reason the elephants and other animals are so lucky to live in this conservation park; the Tarangire River runs straight through the middle of the park and gives them an almost constant source of water.

The park is also large enough to home a whole host of animals, including lions, zebras, and the mysterious elephant herd. Sadly, the area has been plagued by poachers. These elephants are now protected from anyone trying to steal their ivory tusks.
