Though it was not exactly a critically acclaimed film, The Sandlot became a cult-classic and is still a beloved ’90s hit today. They did try to remake the movie and add a sequel – these both kind of flopped and went straight to DVD. There was the Sandlot 2 that had a similar plot to the original and The Sandlot: Heading Home, which was a flashback to the good old days playing ball with the boys. At least we’ll always have the first Sandlot to re-watch as much as we want.
