Although North Korea has 1.2 million military personnel, and 25% of their GDP budget to spend on the military, they are nowhere near the strongest in the world. While the facts may seem odd, there is a good reason. North Korea has cut all ties with nearly every country, meaning they haven’t been able to upgrade their weapons in decades. The country also struggles to keep on top of training the millions of personnel, so many men and women miss out on vital commands.
