When it comes to rules on the road, there are a fair amount of differences when you move from one country to another. One of the more prominent of these is the fact that Americans are allowed to turn right on a red light.
As long as no incoming cars are within reach, you’re good to go. This is somewhat mind-boggling for foreigners, who are so used to waiting for a green “arrow” pointing right. They must think Americans are such daredevils!
