[post_page_title]Tipping[/post_page_title]
Here’s a topic that is extremely common for people to talk about pretty much wherever they are – tips. Whether you’re in your hometown or traveling abroad, the prospect of tipping will pretty much inevitably be thrust upon you – whether you’re supposed to or not. In American culture, tipping is pretty common. In fact, there are many waiters and bartenders in the States who don’t get paid hourly, rather solely on tips.
Outside of America, however, this isn’t always the case. Tipping is a lot less common in European countries, and it’s certainly not expected on the level that it is in America. Of course, that doesn’t mean Europeans will turn down a nice tip if it comes their way.
