Why do you do this to yourself, America? While the rest of the world has switched over to the metric system, you insist on sticking with the imperial system. Although it works for you, it gets very confusing for non-Americans.
We have no idea how fast you’re going, how long your football pitches are, or even how much a gallon of milk is. If the rest of the world is doing things one way, it would make sense to follow the crowd. But you don’t do that.
