If you think about it, this is something that Americans should find weird too – not just foreign people. What’s the deal with the fact that laws are different in every state?
When you really take a good step back, if America really is a united country, shouldn’t all of the laws be consistent? Of course, things are never really that simple, but nevertheless non-Americans find the whole deal kind of strange. It’s certainly aggravating for lawyers who may have to take the bar again if they move states.
