As long as we’re on the topic of money, we might as well segway easily into the workforce. Talking about finances may be sensitive to Americans, but that’s only because they work so darn hard to get it.
According to a 2013 report, almost one in four American workers don’t have guaranteed paid leave – and the ones who do get up to 21 days. Compare that some countries in Europe, where workers are sometimes offered up to a month of paid vacation days a year.
