One of the funniest things that we’ve started to do in society is say “what’s up” or “how are you” as we walk by each other, without any actual intention of finding out the answer.
In fact, “what’s up” is simply another way that most Americans say hello to each other – and they’re pretty cool with that. Non-Americans, however, can’t really understand it. They take things pretty literally, and genuinely tell you what’s up with them if you ask.
