So it’s Christmas morning, and everyone runs down to the Christmas tree to open the presents. Well… kind of. Apparently non-Americans consider it weird that people in the states open their presents in front of each other.
In Asian cultures in particular, they wait until a lot later to open their gifts. They believe that if you open your gift right away, you may be seen as greedy. Interesting… well, it’s also a good way to avoid a lot of awkwardness.
