When Tony and Cap go back in time, Cap disguises himself as a soldier, and those who look closely see that his alias is “Roscoe.” This is a huge reference to the comics, where a character named Roscoe Simons was forced to step up and take the Captain American identity while Steve wasn’t able to.
Unfortunately for Roscoe, he was eventually killed by Red Skull. That being said, it’s nice to know that Endgame paid him a proper tribute with Steve wearing his name on his costume.
