Stan Lee cameos are a staple in every Marvel film, and the fact that he’s still having them after he’s passed away is pretty haunting and beautiful at the same time.
But there was something a bit different about his cameo in Endgame – he appeared as his “younger” self, riding in a 70s car while delivering the quote, “Make love, not war.” This was very appropriate of the hippie culture era, and considering we see him while Tony and Cap have just traveled back to that particular time period, it makes perfect sense.
