In Captain America: Civil War, we begin to meet a handful of new characters we weren’t familiar with – and one of them is T’Challa AKA Black Panther. Hawkeye introduces himself as Clint to T’Challa, at which point T’Challa responds, “I don’t care.”
In Endgame, there is a scene in which T’Challa asks Clint for the Infinity Gauntlet, and he addresses him by his name. This may seem trivial, but we believe it’s a small nod to the fact that he does indeed care, and that he respects Hawkeye.
