Around the beginning of the movie, we see a security guard reading a book, and witnessing the miraculous appearance of Scott Lang in the storage unit he’s watching. This guard is actually played by well known comedic actor Ken Jeong, but more interesting is the book that he’s reading.
If you look closely, it’s called Terminal Beach, which is a collection of short stories written by JG Ballard. This is significant, because one of those short stories is actually titled “End Game.”
