Banner claimed that he had figured it out while spending months in the “Gamma Lab.” But Marvel comics fans understand that this is actually a reference to the “Gamma Land,” which is actually an area in the American Southwest where Hulks were known to appear in the comics. This was no accident, and we’re guessing the writers put that in as a cool tribute for the diehard comic lovers.
