At the end of Endgame, we find ourselves looking at the “new and improved” Guardians of the Galaxy. Now that Thor has officially joined them, there seems to be a bit of tension between him and Peter over who the new leader is – and Thor even jokes that they should be called the “Asgardians of the Galaxy.”
This sounded like a funny joke and all on screen, but fans of the comics know very well that it’s actually a real team that existed in the comics.
