In the first Avengers film, there’s a moment during battle when Natasha jokes to Clint that they’re far away from Budapest. Once again, in Avengers: Endgame, they make the same comment that they are far away from Budapest, while they’re flying to Vormir – but after mentioning it twice, we still have no clue what happened with them in Budapest!
Were they perhaps involved in a romantic relationship in the exotic country? It would certainly add a whole new dynamic to understanding their close relationship.
